Sally Rooney and her publisher are pulling her books from sale in the U.K. following her support for activist group, Palestine Action.

Rooney’s publisher, Faber, said it cannot “pass on U.K. earnings” to Rooney for her work. Rooney and Faber then decided to withdraw her books from sale in the U.K.

“I have made every effort to be honest with the public about my beliefs and intentions, and I am wholly prepared to accept the consequences,” she said in a statement.

The British government has banned Palestine Action and deemed the group a terrorist organization.
