All primary care doctors including family and internists need to be on the front line in education (for themselves and patients), diagnosing and prescribing HRT for all women and men who are suffering from the symptoms of hormone imbalance and the tangential diseases. GYN and urologists are a given. Physicians, please 🙏🏼 And we need pharmaceutical companies to step up production.

When we think about the stakes in healthcare, we tend to think of them in terms of life and death, being sick or being healthy. The conversation is about your physical well-being and maybe your mental health — and it pretty much stops there. But your health impacts so much more, especially for women, a new survey from Gallup and Pivotal, a philanthropic group founded by Melinda French Gates, shows. “Women are often taught to put themselves last and minimize their own needs,” Melinda wrote to Vox in an email. “They don’t always have time to care for themselves because they’re so busy caring for others. And they might not be able to afford childcare or home health support for their aging parents. Our survey showed one in six women delayed healthcare because of their responsibilities caring for their family members. For Black women it’s one in five, and Hispanic women one in four. Too many women are facing an uphill road to even just get to a doctor’s office.” “It’s possible to make it easier for people to balance healthcare and family responsibilities — but it’s going to take action from many angles. Dear CSU community, Yesterday evening, many of you received an emergency alert or saw media coverage about an incident on campus. We’re writing to share what we can, thank those who responded, and make sure everyone is aware of the support available. Here is what we know. On Monday evening, CSU Police received a report of a person acting erratically near Newton Plaza. When an officer arrived, a man armed with a handgun advanced toward the officer, and the man was shot. He was taken to an area hospital where he is being treated. No one else was injured. CSUPD determined there was no ongoing threat to campus and it was not an active shooter incident. The Critical Incident Response Team, led by Fort Collins Police Services, is investigating, and any further information will come from FCPS. A summary is at safety.colostate.edu We’re deeply grateful to CSUPD, FCPS and other law enforcement and first responder partners for their swift response and for the care and professionalism they showed. We know that an incident like this is unsettling. Please check on one another and take care of those around you. Faculty & staff: Employee Assistance Program offers free, confidential counseling and resources. Campus digital screens are used for situations with an ongoing threat, which CSUPD determined was not the case here. Separately, you may have seen reports of a student arrest in a residence hall. Right now, Israeli occupation forces are demolishing structures in the village of Um Al Khair in Masafer Yatta, South Hebron Hills. This is the second demolition today in Masafer Yatta.
