Bad Evening and Good Morning.

These two pieces are up now at @arcadiaexhibitions in the Harrison Gallery for my solo show, ‘Corner of My Eye’. Good Morning (second image) was made in 2023, reflecting on fractured visual fields and communicating over different time zones via the internet. This summer I expanded on the piece, incorporating sequence and storytelling across the exhibition. The result is Bad Evening (first image), where I’ve imagined a doomscroll and a more ominous FaceTime call as the result of an entire day spent looking at screens. This piece also inspired the plot of my new comic, Typhoon, which I’ll be selling at the Arcadia Zine Fest in a week! You can come by to grab your copy and see the exhibition on October 21 from 11am-4pm.
