I had a positive experience in St. George yesterday. I was at the intersection of Baringer Foreman Rd and Airline Hwy. There were several bricks scattered in the middle of the intersection. Cars were having to go on the shoulder of Airline to avoid the bricks. I immediately dialed 311 to report it to the city. The person who answered said “you are in St. George so I need to divert your call to them.” A very nice lady answered that call and I told her about the bricks in the road. Without hesitation she said, “I will get this to someone’s attention right away.” I decided to head home and without thinking about the bricks, I turned down Baringer Foreman. When I came to the intersection at Airline, the bricks had already been removed! I was very pleased to see the city’s prompt response to this minor issue. I’m glad to have the opportunity to post something positive about our city. Thank you!

Good government works for us locally. I think if schools, roads, libraries etc.
