2026 LABI MVP! 🏛️ I’m truly honored to receive this recognition from LABI. It means a great deal to me because it reflects the work we’ve done together to strengthen Louisiana’s economy, support job creators, and expand opportunity across our state.

Thank you to LABI for this recognition and for its continued advocacy on behalf of Louisiana’s business community.

There is tremendous momentum in Louisiana right now, and I’m proud to continue building on that progress and moving our state forward. From developing our workforce to creating a business-friendly climate, I remain committed to doing the work needed to support Louisiana’s businesses, families, and communities. by @emilychenevert

🇺🇸America the beautiful is 250 years old.🇺🇸

📜For the last 4 or 5 years, I have read the Declaration of Independence on this day; thinking about what was at stake for the founding fathers and their commitment to this great experiment we call the United States of America.

✒️Today is no different, however a pamphlet written
and published in January of 1776 entitled “COMMON SENSE” by Thomas Paine is an addition to my readings. With a mission to rally the colonies to think about the idea of independence, COMMON SENSE made public a persuasive
case for independence, which had not been given serious consideration.

📣Widely read among taverns and meeting places at
the beginning of the American Revolution, Paine encouraged common people to think of what could be and how America was worth the fight.

💡It has been said that ideas lead to actions, and
COMMON SENSE is a perfect example of that. Paine grappled with the idea of either RECONCILIATION with Britain or INDEPENDENCE for America - pushing for the latter which shifted the public view. It has been said that his work
provided the ideological groundwork that encouraged colonial leaders to draft the Declaration of Independence.

🇺🇸 I am thankful for the bold ideas of courageous men who envisioned a nation where ordinary men and women could govern themselves, with freedom and liberty at its core. Our nation is not perfect, but my hope is that we continue to live out the call to “form a more perfect Union,” as written in the Preamble to our Constitution. To me, those words represent an enduring commitment—a continual pursuit of becoming better, one day at a time.

🗽Protecting our liberty remains at the heart of America’s promise, and it is a promise each generation must uphold. Now more than ever, we must remind future generations why a strong America matters—not only for our own future, but for the world.
🎉Happy Birthday America...Here’s to the next 250
years! 🇺🇸 #america250 #constitution #USA #America by @emilychenevert

Choosing Courage - a collection of stories of soldiers in our military written by Peter Collier that gives an inspiring look into battlefield heroes, is a perfect read for today.

As I read through some of the details of the stories, I am forever grateful for the strength and honor of the men and women who have served this country and lost their lives.

Today we honor those who sacrificed everything for this great country. Their courage and commitment will never be forgotten. #MemorialDay #America #Courage by @emilychenevert

My mom. Nobody like her. ❤️ She is the example of what a Godly mom should be. Her love for God and family is seen in everything she does. She is truly selfless and lives to serve others.

I am also blessed by my mother-n-love who loves and prays for us daily - I am so thankful for her - Her love for God is evident in her love for her family ❤️

Thankful this Mother’s Day🙏 @annmorrow @momc457 by @emilychenevert

On The Road to Pass HCR 26: House Rep. Emily Chenevert

On Monday, April 13th, HCR 26, the Prenatal Human Development Education Resolution passed the House floor in Baton Rouge! This resolution is a step towards scientifically-accurate education in schools on the development of the unborn baby in the womb. Our Director talked with the author of the resolution, Rep, Emily Chenevert, about why providing a window to the womb for students is so important!

The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ transformed everything, turning the hope of eternity into a tangible reality and offering humanity a path to eternal life.

Romans 5:8 captures the heart of the Christian faith: “While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” This profound act of sacrifice shows that humanity’s redemption wasn’t earned, but gifted, as Christ bridged the gap created by sin and rebellion.

I am forever grateful for the selfless act of love - there is no other name! #Jesus #EasterSunday by @emilychenevert
