Great competition coming to eastern Tennessee on February 20th 2027 in Elizabethton 😎 This is an amazing gym with a picture of Bob Peoples on the wall. Bob deadlifted over 725 pounds at a bodyweight of about 180 pounds. His record still holds! The gym owner is a great supporter of powerlifting and strength training and a TN USPA State record holder in the Bench Press. Stay tuned for more about this contest capped at 45 Lifters! HU Staff: Jamal Osborne @_j.osborne A family friend remembers Hassan Kariem, an Atlanta Public Schools educator, as a fighter after he died in a fall from a roller coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia. _____________________________________________ Kariem, 42, was reportedly ejected from the Goliath ride Monday. Police said he fell, struck several other riders, and landed beneath the coaster. Four people were taken to the hospital.
