emissions 10. holy shit. thank you.

i have festival flu and a gravel voice from yelling “fuck yeah” between too many songs. worth it.

nate and jami at westside bowl, none of this would be possible without you. you run the best venue in america, and i’m lucky you let me do this.

thank you to all the bands. i know you sacrifice a lot to keep doing what you love. jobs, time with family, sleep, money. thank you for making the trip and giving us everything you had.

casey, sam and gill on sound. nick and kelly, our lighting directors. the best visual and audio experience bar none. thanks for tolerating me.

all the bar and kitchen staff who were excellent, security who were fair and firm. four days of dealing with all of us is a lot.

the vendors who brought all kinds of interesting and unique shit. the staff photographers, and everyone in the crowd taking photos and videos. i’m still catching up on everything you captured.

elyse for social media. kelly again for ticketing, apparently one job wasn’t enough. dalia’s caribbean kitchen for that fantastic vegan platter.

my kid lily for help on saturday, my mom, who refused to stop selling merch no matter how many times i asked her to cut it out.

friends, family and tracy who listened to every crazy idea, every band possibility, every worry, and probably several conversations repeated..

and everyone who bought a ticket, traveled, watched a band they’d never heard of, bought merch, made a friend, or just stood there grinning like i was. you’re why we do this. seeing you all together again meant more to me than i can put in a post.

and you’re welcome for my between-band playlist, the ultimate earhole cleanser.worked hard on that shit.

tagging everyone is impossible. i’m probably forgetting somebody, that i'll remember laters.

today feels like groundhog day. reset the website, updated the alumni list, and got back to the beginning and booking emissions 11, which i’ve been working on for a months or two already. making notes on what we can fix and tweak for next year. the little things count.

emissions 11. october 7–10, 2027. westside bowl, yo, ohio.

After 20 years, it was still unmistakably Emissions. Everything that made the festival special way back then was present last weekend. Can't even begin to tell you how great a time I had. To steal a line from the Brought Low, Goddamn God Bless.

This was hands down the best show/festival/venue we have ever been to. The lineup was amazing. The sound was impeccable. Every set ripped. Not selling to capacity made for such a better experience too! Thank you for such a incredible weekend. See you next year 🤘🏻
