West Ham United produced a commanding away performance to defeat Lincoln 6–0, in the Championship. Two early red cards left Lincoln with nine men, and the Hammers took full advantage. Lincoln’s hopes were badly damaged when Tom Hamer was dismissed after just three minutes. Conor McGrandles followed him off in the 23rd minute, leaving the hosts with nine players. West Ham eventually broke through just before half-time, with Mavropanos heading home from Bowen’s corner. The Hammers struck twice in the opening five minutes of the second half through Austbø and Bowen. Pablo Felipe then added a fourth in the 75th minute, heading in Austbø’s delivery. Souček took over late on, scoring in the 79th and 89th minutes to seal a six-goal victory. West Ham were clinical after taking the lead, scoring five times in the second half. Lincoln’s two dismissals made the task extremely difficult, while Pablo Felipe and Souček capped off an emphatic Hammers performance.
