The Dockers Derby returned to The Den on 19 September 2026, with Millwall and West Ham United playing out an entertaining 2–2 draw in the Championship. It was the clubs’ 100th competitive meeting and their first encounter since 2012.

Millwall started with greater intensity and took control of the first half. Caleb Taylor opened the scoring in the 16th minute with a close-range finish, sending The Den into a huge celebration.

The hosts continued to threaten and nearly doubled their advantage when Mark Sykes hit the crossbar. Millwall eventually got their second just before half-time, with Camiel Neghli making it 2–0.

West Ham came out with a much stronger response after the interval. Their pressure eventually produced a goal in the 74th minute, when Mohamadou Kanté reduced the deficit to 2–1. Six minutes later, the comeback was complete: Konstantinos Mavropanos headed in from a corner to make it 2–2.

The closing stages remained tense. Millwall were reduced to ten men when Kanté was shown a red card for bringing down Kyrell Lisbie after the striker had broken through on goal. Despite the late pressure, West Ham could not find a winning goal.
