A really phenomenal actor that killed almost every role he was in, played the psychopath part a little too well. Some of his works included Boardwalk Empire, Hannibal and Murder by Numbers. Michael Pitt was talented, but with a lot of issues. Lots of people have said that he was very hard to work with on set / unprofessional. Public meltdowns ended up altering his career trajectory including a criminal case trial going on right now with him. He could have gotten so many more iconic roles, unfortunately the way things played out it never transpired.
On this day in 2005, Daniel Craig was announced as the sixth actor to take on the role of James Bond. He beat out 72 other names linked to the role. Craig auditioned for James Bond with two scenes: Bond’s first meeting with Vesper Lynd, and the scene from FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE where Bond first encounters Tatiana in his hotel room.
Pope Leo XIV has been admitted to Rome’s Agostino Gemelli Hospital and will undergo surgery on Tuesday afternoon to remove a "small, localized nodule" from his lung. According to the Holy See Press Office, the operation will be carried out by the hospital’s thoracic surgery team, led by Professor Stefano Margaritora. An update is expected in the evening.
