@mary_stack and @katie.firth.art duo show ‘Close to Home’ opens today! Yesterday we introduced you to Mary Stack, and today we are introducing you to Katie Firth.
We just adore the composition and colour in this piece ‘The Commute’. There’s such a freshness and looseness to Katie‘s brush work. Her pieces feel so contemporary, but there’s a real nostalgia and warmth in the imagery.

Katie’s work ‘Lunch With The Locals’ was chosen as the winning centrepiece in the Peninsula Hot Springs Challenge on The Block. She has been a Salon des Refusés finalist in 2023, 2024 and 2026, and currently has a piece on tour with the Salon.
