At 197cm, he's got the size, athleticism and aggression to become a very good key forward. We've already seen glimpses of his enormous potential, but unfortunately he's had absolutely horrendous luck with injuries and struggled to get any real continuity in his footy.
The beauty is we could potentially pick him up with one of our extra rookie spots without giving up any draft capital. He is yet to be offered a contract at Port so it would be dependent on wether he available as a delisted free agent.
For a bloke with his physical attributes and upside, that's a pretty good risk to take in my opinion. Get his body right, give him a fresh opportunity and who knows what he could become.
Sometimes these are the opportunities you need to take. Plenty of upside without sacrificing our valuable draft picks.
Definitely worth a crack!

Worth a gamble as a rookie, as a Port man I’ve seen a bit of him, even when fit he struggles to get into the game, work rate is questionable and isn’t a strong contested mark but maybe a change of scenery will do him good. Look at Billy Frampton

Be an ideal ruck forward key backman swingman he has had a couple of injuries along the way but we should not say no before looking closely at it

Silly not to. We’re getting two explosive draftees in Drever and Justice. Top up the rookie spots with this guy and Banfield. Gives us some good variation.

Get him in 100% he’s worth it, if anything it will hold Archer May accountable

100% Worth a rookie spot. He could be a very good player. All his rookie reports are glowing and he’ll cost us nothing.
