When thinking of my homecoming campaign, I knew I wanted to root it in connection and purpose.
Reach, the first platform point, is vitally important to me because simply put, we must reach people to educate about heart health and provide resources to better cardiovascular wellbeing.
Heart disease is the leading cause of death worldwide, and yet up to 90% of cases are preventable through early intervention and lifestyle changes.
It’s time to reach out to those around us, and make sure we are doing our part to create a cardiovascular safe campus.
