15 minutes agoI asked Google Ai about this case and it said. Googles words not mine….. “The Legal Reality: No traditional lawyer takes a property damage case over a $1,000 camera on contingency, and retaining one out-of-pocket would cost multiple times the value of the camera itself. In California, a dispute of this amount belongs strictly in Small Claims Court, where lawyers are actually not allowed to represent clients during the trial. Crowdfunding for an expensive attorney for a small-claims-level property dispute has led many to believe the viral nature of the story is being leveraged for financial gain or content clout.”
an hour ago@rolleirepairs feeding into the delusion that the leather and internals don’t have to be broken apart for a full clad all just for internet fame is wild. This person and her aggressive brother need to be informed fully about restoring a vintage camera and the true costs of doing it properly. They never should have gone the cheap route if they expected magic. Also real classy of you to add to the bashing of that other shop instead of just being a professional. Hope you get all those go fund me funds 😂
an hour agoPlease why r u donating to her? All she has to do is sue the business and they will cover all the new repairs

4 hours agoNow that the camera is in the right hands and on the road to be fixed, do you have an idea on what your first film stock to shoot with will be? I recommend for color Kodak gold and for black and white Ilford hp5 these are both affordable for beginners .
