Emma's Sinter Pour!
An exciting day for the team as we sintered the new addition to our family of furnaces.
Emma's work was the maiden pour.
Emma has been walking and tracing her tracks during her time with us.
Her work has an element of surveying and cartography, but while maps can be loaded with political and colonial history, Emma's walks and subsequent maps reveal a mapping of herself over many days.

The crucible studios will be open Sunday 25 October from 10am until 3pm.
Come meet Emma and see what she has been up to.
Emma will be talking about her practice and her time here as resident artist from 1.30pm until 2pm.
