🎬 New England sob uma nova perspectiva! 🇺🇸

I went to a nearby bakery recently and was taken aback by the maple tree across from it, its leaves all shades of yellow and orange. The tree I walk past almost daily suddenly looked so different. Have I not been noticing things? The leaves couldn’t have turned from green to yellow overnight. I had seen the tree, but I wasn’t consciously paying attention to it.

I wonder how many other things were happening in front of me that I only became aware of once the change was obvious, or maybe there were changes I never noticed at all.

Autumn reminds me to take things slowly, to look up and notice the light, the trees, and birds migrating away, to notice how my body seems to need more sleep, and to notice the things that are quietly changing around me. 𓂃 🐦‍⬛ 𓂃
