Delhi Police have registered an FIR under the SC/ST Act following a complaint by ACP Vivek Bhagat. He alleges a woman journalist used casteist slurs and publicly hum!liated him during the October 3 protest near Jantar Mantar. The case also includes allegations of obstructing official duties and defamation.
The journalist had earlier accused Bhagat of s*xual harassment during the protest. Her separate complaint remains under inquiry with the Crime Branch. Both complaints contain allegations, not proven findings.
