My formidable Nan 40 years ago with one of her treasured friends; a vividly pink-red flowered tree peony which she was proud to have grown from seed. Happy earthy birthday, fierce and feisty Libran one! I would say I miss you, but I sense still your fire and hear your voice. These days I appreciate its greater softness.
