Today humbled me.

We talked about something we don’t talk about enough - Risks and Safeguarding for Activists. That activism has a cost, and protecting yourself is part of the work.

Then DO NO HARM. Simple rule: Don’t post images that re-traumatize. Don’t use language that shames or blames. Use approaches that empower, include and respect.

And we finally broke down M&E - what we put in, what we do, what comes out, what changes in people, and what changes in society.

We were so happy to have Miss Fortunata Lemu, CEO of MY LEGACY Foundation, as our special guest. Her story on mentoring and leading with empathy really set the tone for the day.

My favorite reminder: people may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.
