Texas A&M Phi Delta Theta

Yesterday we were blessed with the opportunity to initiate Chris Larkin, Marco Cruz, and Moon Elsaadi into the Texas Nu chapter of Phi Delta Theta.
Chris was diagnosed with ALS in 2022 and started Aggieland Against ALS in 2023. We first met Mr. Larkin last year at the 2025 festival, and were thoroughly inspired by his story and attitude towards life in spite of his diagnosis. A few weeks ago we hosted/celebrated our second annual Aggieland Against ALS festival, and we wanted to work to cement his name within our bond forever.

Marco and Moon received their bids this Fall as members of the Aggie ACHIEVEMates program. This program looks to get young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities involved with organizations across Texas A&M’s campus. We have greatly enjoyed the time we have spent with them thus far, and are proud to have them at Texas Nu.
