Uncommon New York reveals ‘DENIAL’ - a life-size statue of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis with supporters and onlookers in attendance. Hours later, it began to melt 🔥
.
DENIAL, a new installation from @350actionus, @mssngpeces & Uncommon, is sculpted from gallium, a metal that melts below Tallahassee’s average summer highs. It marks the moment Florida erased “climate change” from state law while spending more than $1 billion responding to floods, storms & heat. Once the applause fades, we’re the ones left with the consequences.
