I used to think networking meant introducing myself to as many people as possible, exchanging contacts, and hoping something came out of it.

But I realised that meeting people and actually connecting with them are two very different things.

The more intentional I became about listening, showing genuine interest, and following up after conversations, the more meaningful my connections became.
