Still reflecting on Thursday night’s Executive Sleep Out with @covenanthousebc
Standing with 44 incredible humans and seeing everyone come together to raise over one million dollars for youth… truly powerful.

The youth panel moved me once again. When safety, love, and basic needs are met, young people don’t just survive ,they rise, they dream, and they give back. More than 1 million was raised (1.3million) for this executive edition collectively

Grateful for this experience, grateful for the purpose, and grateful for the impact we can make together. 💙
We rise higher when we rise together.

Be careful how you talk to yourself, especially when things don’t go your way.

One thing life has taught me is that the mind will always have something to say. It will question you, justify things, replay mistakes, and sometimes create stories that aren’t even true.

With experience, you learn not to believe every thought that enters your mind.

You observe it.
You question it.
You take what is useful.
And you keep moving.

That’s maturity.

You don’t have to silence your mind. You just have to stop letting every thought lead you.

The last 21 days were a little different. I got to be part of an amazing storytelling community, hear people’s stories, and share a lot more of mine too.

Now I’m back here. 😄

One thing I’m realizing with entrepreneurship is that you can keep trying and still not see things work out the way you expected.

And that part is hard.

But you try. You mess up. You figure something out. And you go again.

I guess that’s part of the game.
