A teenager named Sahil has reportedly d*ed of r*bies in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, nearly a month after being bitten by a dog. According to Aaj Tak, his family did not seek immediate medical treatment and initially relied on home remedies.

Sahil reportedly began showing severe symptoms around 10 days before his d*ath, including fear of water and moving air, along with excessive drooling. As his condition worsened, the family took him to a Community Health Centre (CHC), but he d*ed shortly after reaching the facility.

The incident highlights the dangers of delaying treatment after a dog bite. R*bies can be prevented through timely medical care, including proper wound washing and vaccination as advised by doctors. People should never rely on home remedies or wait for symptoms to appear after an animal bite.
