I watched this twice because I didn't realize at first that it had restarted! 😂 I just fully expected it to go that long, because Simon never stops, lol!

Does the shelter that was going to put him down know how well Simon is doing now?

He has the personality and the craze of the American Korat. They are super energetic, highly intelligent, very vocal, and incredibly athletic. They look you straight in the eye when communicating with you 😍

We’ve got a lot to celebrate!🎉 Harlem and Queenie are officially 1! I feel like I was just bottle feeding them yesterday - and now, look how big they’ve grown. They have been the perfect additions to our family. The boys and I simply couldn’t love them more! And my sweet Hudson is somehow 11 - where does the time go?? His birthday is the day after the rice babies. I knew the minute I got him out of an NYC subway construction site, covered in fleas and terrified, that he was mine. He melted into my arms the first moment I ever held him, and the rest is history. We celebrated with plenty of treats and cuddles! Happy birthday babies❤️ #rescuecat #fosterfail #birthday #cats
Spoiler alert - his first night goes so well! He was also absolutely wonderful with new people! He’s really an amazing cat @kittenrescuela #rescue #rescuecat #foster #fostercat
Please share to help Fox find is forever home!✨ Here are some more photos of this sweet boy I had the pleasure of being paired with for Adventure Buddy Day with @laanimalservices. We truly had the best time together! It’s so hard for me to believe that this 2 year old boy has been waiting for his perfect match since June. He came into @friendsofnorthcentralshelter as an owner surrender. I imagine it was nearly impossible to let go of this angel - his wonderful demeanor, stunning eyes, and perfect manners are something nobody wants to miss out on. For several months though now, Fox has been waiting. Waiting to be seen. Waiting to be loved. Waiting to get to go out and enjoy a toy. Waiting for a belly rub. Maybe you’re who he has been waiting for? Fox is 2 years old, 45lbs, neutered, and simply wonderful. He plays fabulously with toys, is gentle, and doesn’t jump up or grab things - he waits for you to give it to him. How polite!!🥹 Fox loves to sniff and explore, and loves to go out. If he wants something, he’ll wag his tail and let out a few excited barks to let you know he’s interested! Fox is also noted to do well in play groups, and was excellent on our adventure with passing dogs and children - he minds his own unless another dog tries to initiate some play time! He seems to love to play. Fox does pull on leash, but that also may just be because he’s spending a lot of time in a kennel and has so much energy when he’s finally out that he wants to make the most of his time so he tries to pull and explore! Fox (A2280619) is available for adoption at North Central Animal Shelter in LA! Let’s give this sweet boy’s story a happy ending ❤️🐾
Simon’s prepping for his vet visit with a nail trim and some training with the crate! After Sunday’s visit, he should be able to begin introductions with my crew🐾 @kittenrescuela #rescuecat #rescue #foster #fostercat #cat
Today, Simon conquered his fears and did SO well with the vacuum!🥹 The video is a bit louder and longer, but I decided to leave it that way with the hope that it can help someone else introduce scarier things to their cat, too! @kittenrescuela #cat #rescuecat #rescue #foster #fostercat
Yesterday was Adventure Buddy Day with @laanimalservices! So many dogs got a much-needed break from the shelter - and I got to spend the day with Fox (A2280619)! Fox has been waiting for months for his forever family to find him! It baffles me, because he’s truly an incredible dog. Fox is available for adoption & waiting for you at North Central (@friendsofnorthcentralshelter) in LA! Let’s give this boy’s story a happy ending 🤍 #rescue #rescuedog #losangeles #foster
“Over one million species now face the risk of extinction, edging us ever closer towards an uninhabitable world. It doesn’t have to be this way.” At the #COP17 Biodiversity Conference, UN Secretary-General @antonioguterres calls for more action, speed and will to make peace with nature. “Our world is being battered by conflict, climate chaos, food insecurity, disease threats, and more. Biodiversity is not a separate challenge. Addressing any of these crises requires addressing them all. And there is no time to waste.”

A #Catholic priest in #Ecuador has died after a massive wooden crucifix fell on him while he was celebrating Mass, in a tragic incident captured on a livestream. (SWIPE) The victim, Father Patricio Alfredo Sánchez Molinari, was leading a service at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Guayaquil, Ecuador, on October 17, 2026, when the large crucifix mounted behind the altar suddenly detached from the wall and struck him. The incident occurred approximately 27 minutes into the livestream, leaving churchgoers screaming and rushing to help. The Archdiocese of Guayaquil confirmed the priest’s death and released a statement expressing condolences to his family, friends and religious community. Sánchez Molinari was a member of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer and served as the church’s parish priest. The footage has since circulated widely on social media, sparking shock and grief among viewers. Authorities have not yet publicly established what caused the crucifix to detach from the wall, and the circumstances surrounding the accident remain unclear.
