Is "educational" screen time actually harming your toddler's focus?According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, screen exposure should be avoided before age three. Experts like Dr. Daniel Amen warn that even three might be too early. When young brains get used to the rapid-fire stimulation of digital screens, everyday real-world activities start to feel "boring." This fast-paced digital input can overstimulate developing minds, making it much harder for children to practice deep focus, emotional regulation, and self-control later in life.
As mothers, building a healthy environment today is the greatest gift we can give to support their attention spans and long-term success tomorrow.
Let's talk in the comments:How do you manage screen time or "no screen" rules in your home? What has worked best for your family?
