Jesse Wine participates in “Rêvez-vous de moutons électriques?”, a group exhibition, opening today (Oct 17) at Le Château – Centre d’Art Contemporain et du Patrimoine, in Aubenas, France.
Wine’s “ERANU”¦UVAVU!!!” (2023), made of ceramic, sand and paint, brings together limbs and abstract volumes in vibrant blue. Forms sprout from one another, fusing anatomy and object into a construction whose parts seem to grow and transform.
Curated by Victoria Aresheva, Anastasia Krizanovska and Lena Sorokina, the exhibition explores how technology shapes our perception of reality. Works across different media connect ancient memory techniques with digital culture, examining the geometries underlying physical and virtual worlds and the fictions that proliferate within them.

Realizada em cerâmica, areia e tinta, “ERANU”¦UVAVU!!!” (2023), de Wine, reúne membros e volumes abstratos em azul vibrante. As formas brotam umas das outras, fundindo anatomia e objeto em uma construção cujas partes parecem crescer e se transformar.
Com curadoria de Victoria Aresheva, Anastasia Krizanovska e Lena Sorokina, a exposição explora como a tecnologia molda nossa percepção da realidade. Obras em diferentes linguagens conectam técnicas antigas de memorização à cultura digital, investigando as geometrias que estruturam os mundos físico e virtual e as ficções que neles proliferam.
