love you, sweetie. I canโ€™t wait to be with you again. & to the women that shared their stories of grief with me, thank you. Iโ€™m still not even ready to really talk about details. I was mishandled from knowing something was wrong to delivering him alone with no pain management. itโ€™s why I havenโ€™t really talked about Webbโ€™s crazy fast wonderful birth story either. itโ€™s hard to talk about birth stories in general. Kempโ€™s has just lived unprocessed in my brain and Iโ€™ve shelved the trauma from that day while trying to move through the grief of not having him everyday after. maybe Iโ€™ll in a few years Iโ€™ll be there to share, but if you have delivered your child and held their body with no heartbeat, you are not alone & others have been there too. nothing makes the grief lighter, but I did feel less alone knowing I wasnโ€™t the only one who knows the bone deep grief & the specific traumas that accompany ๐Ÿซ‚

Iโ€™m genuinely starting to lose interest in watches made by the big conglomerates. This year Iโ€™ve really changed the way I look at the watch industry. I find myself getting more and more interested in independent watchmakers. People who put their heart, soul and sometimes everything they own into creating something special. Iโ€™d much rather spend my money supporting someone who has dedicated their entire life to watchmaking than buying another version of the same watch with a different dial. Donโ€™t get me wrong, I still love the big brands, but thereโ€™s something incredibly special about supporting the people who are actually trying to push this industry forward rather than just selling us the same story over and over again.
