Last time, when the U.S. President called India a “dead economy,” the opposition joined his chorus and became his sitting ducks. But today, when the World Bank and international experts are congratulating India for reducing poverty and improving its economic performance, those same sitting ducks are dead silent.

Why do they rush to discredit India but go mum when it comes to acknowledging its progress?

@jesstonn Jess McClain put in an unbelievable kick in the final meters of the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon to secure 2nd place overall and first US woman to cross the finish line in 2:24:42

What is Mutton Kundan Kaliya?

Mutton Kundan Kaliya is a royal Awadhi dish that originated in the kitchens of Lucknow’s Nawabs, who were famous for their luxurious food. The word Kundan means pure gold, while Kaliya refers to a traditional meat curry. The dish is known for its beautiful golden colour, which comes from ingredients like saffron and turmeric. In some royal preparations, edible gold leaf was also used to decorate the dish, making it a symbol of wealth and grandeur.
What makes Mutton Kundan Kaliya special is its delicate flavour and rich, silky gravy. Unlike the spicy mutton curries we commonly eat, this dish focuses on subtle aromas and slow cooking. Tender pieces of mutton are cooked with yoghurt, ghee, fried onions and fragrant spices, sometimes with saffron and kewra water. The beauty of this dish lies in the patience and skill required to prepare it, making it a wonderful example of Lucknow’s royal culinary heritage.

Recipe ⬇️ (4 Katoris | 100-120 Cals Each)

🥣 4 lijjat papad
🍠 ½ sweet potato steamed
🌱 100g sprouts boiled
🧅 3 tbsp chopped onion
🌿 Green chutney
🍯 Imli ki chutney
🥣 Skyr
🥨 Baked sev
🥜 Crushed peanuts
🍎 Pomegranate
🍋 Lemon juice
🌶️ Red chili powder
🧂 Salt
⚫ Black pepper
✨ Garam masala
🍋 Amchur powder

👨🏻‍🍳 How to Make

1. Lightly roast each papad on a pan until it cooks on each side. Gently press it while roasting with a cloth.
2. Immediately place the soft papad inside a bowl. Press another smaller bowl inside to shape it into a katori. Let it cool and repeat with the remaining papads. You have to do it within two seconds of taking it off the pan or it will get crispy.
3. Mix the sweet potato and sprouts with salt, red chili powder, black pepper, garam masala, amchur powder, and lemon juice.
4. Add papad crumbs to the bottom of each katori.
5. Add the sweet potato and sprouts filling.
6. Top with chopped onion tomato, green chutney, imli ki chutney, Skyr, crushed peanuts, baked sev, and pomegranate.
7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
