On the 17th day of ‘Tober Art Prompt List No Pressure Roulette, the good people at @badtober prompted me to ask: what about me? What I want? And the answer is that I spent a good amount of time thinking of how to answer that question, whether I paint a pipe dream or something large and abstract or just acknowledging that I almost always want a nap, but then I had a meltdown when I got home from errands because I was overwhelmed by an overpowering bad perfume sample and didn’t have it in me to do anything complicated, so I decided that what I want in this moment is for everyone to know how good my outfit was today. I’m wearing a super old cotton cardigan I hope never dies because nobody makes anything as good as it in natural fibres, my wrap dress is a gorgeous @sondeflor piece, but since I’m 5 feet tall and haven’t gotten round to tailoring it to my shortness, I put a cheeky strawberry top from @lucyandyak so I didn’t flash the neighbourhood. The camera is my handy Minolta X-700, and my latte is from the superlative @newgroundcoffee and you can just about see my nonbinary Starfleet pin. And my face is tired x
