Tesla just showcased its next-generation Roadster accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in an astonishing 0.81 seconds 🔥
During its October 15 unveiling in Texas, Tesla presented a recorded acceleration test featuring its redesigned electric sports car equipped with SpaceX-developed compressed-gas thrusters.
These rear-mounted thrusters provide additional forward thrust beyond the electric motors, helping the Roadster achieve acceleration that would be extremely difficult using tire grip alone.
The demonstration puts Tesla among the most ambitious names in automotive engineering, although the acceleration time still needs independent verification.
