It’s been a busy start to another school year, and as buried in my work as I’ve been these past couple of months I’ve fortunately found my way into the studio from time to time. Hence the lack of posts (which is probably a good thing).

I’ve been going through a bad bout of saudades from my time in Portugal this past summer. Especially, my time in Lisboa. The trip was meant to cure my saudades of Lisboa but it ended up making it worse.

The city has changed since my last visit 25 years ago. However, the spirit and history remain. The songs that echo through the streets late at night still hold my soul. They call me back.

Prior to my trip, I had planned and written a story about Lisboa. Her people, its history, and the creatures that lurk in the shadows of cobblestone streets.
