Walnuts. I like them and I like the Walnut tree a couple gardens up - it even keeps propagating year after year in our garden. This prodigious tree was in my mind while making the walnut-based Fesenjan - a Persian stew with chicken. It is sweet and sour with walnuts toasted and mushed up, pomegranate molasses, cinnamon, saffron, and turmeric going on. It tastes a bit muddy but I like it. Sadly, the young’un didn’t 😕
