In NY? DATA CENTERS AARE local issues. Each City, County, STATE votes on them, and agrees to them. Your bills are because of LOCAL AND STATE policies.

Thank You! Kay for pointing that out. I myself am and do have concerns about where needed Data Centers are located especially if they require the amounts of water to cool the operations of them. Again I'm not against the being of them. I'm concerned about the locations of them creating water usage in everyday life for people that get prosecuted for collecting rain water from the roof of there own house as if the Community, City, County, and State owns that water that was provided from the Skies Above that GOD Provided for us all. As long as long as needed Data Centers are not put in places where our Agriculture Dependinces of our Country suffers. Foreign Countries are already trying to buy and squeeze out our American Farm Property and Producers.

Pretty much every point that lady makes is flawed. Every data center I know of is private, meaning it is built and operated by private capital. I'm totally fine with requiring data centers to improve infrastructure or build their own power plants.
