POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

On this day 25 years ago, we were attacked. 2,977 people were murdered.
Many more died in the years that followed — in the fight for justice and from the illnesses that came from running toward the fire that morning.
We swore we would never forget. That oath still stands. It is not “hate” to name the evil that struck us. Islamic terrorism did this. Moral equivalence is a lie, and silence is a kind of erasure.
Remember what it means to be an American: a people who have met real evil and still chose to stand for peace, prosperity, and the living. Hold that. Demand leaders who will defend this country — not apologize for it, and not trade it away for fashionable righteousness.
We are Americans. Act like it.
Never forget. by @aagnand

Looking for a 9/11 documentary to remember the events and those lost? Avoid Turning Point: Generation 9/11.

The DSA mignt as well have funded this documentary.

The stories relayed by those interviewed are real, from the attack through the Abbey Gate bombing, and I won't disparage their experiences or how it affected them (even though they exclude some voices to include the family members of those killed at Abbey Gate). My issue is with how the show portrays the overall event, as the US response was somehow worse than the 9/11 attack, but proposes no alternatives or talks about any of the successes other than mentioning the killing of Bin Laden.

The producers' political philosophy is quite clear, and it is most notable when they air a portion of Trump's speech a couple of months before Abbey Gate, where he takes responsibility for the withdrawal plan but never once mentions that Biden was the one in office and executed it. As if he had no choice but to follow Trump's plan for this, but had no problem canceling all of his executive orders for everything else. I don't think Biden's name was even mentioned at all at any point. by @aagnand

The Left seems to always love setting a precedent for the worst political behavior. It always backfires and this will too. by @aagnand

Socialism is often presented as the compassionate solution — “from each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.”
Yet at its root, it’s frequently fueled by envy and the temptation to take from others what one hasn’t earned. The images above lay out why this path never delivers the promised utopia.
History is clear: forced redistribution doesn’t create wealth — it destroys incentives, fuels inflation, and spreads poverty. Real, lasting prosperity comes from production, innovation, and voluntary cooperation, not coercion.
What do you think — is it time we learned from the past? by @aagnand

I'm officially rewarding Trump with the "Rock Out With Your Cock Out" morale patch because he is a second-term president who clearly doesn't give a damn! by @aagnand
