My primary intention for this portrait, was to strip away the distractions of colour and environment to draw absolute attention to Alexia’s natural beauty and the arresting power of her eyes.
To achieve this, I framed her with oversized, hand sculpted white paper flowers. The delicate geometric petals act as both a organic frame and a visual mask, partially obscuring her face to create a sense of mystery and vulnerability. the resulting image is a timeless study of strength, stillness, and the captivating depth of a single, piercing gaze.
