It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. My mom and my sister survived the disease, my grandmother passed from it. Naturally, it’s an important issue for me. For 25 years I’ve gotten checked every October, and since social media came along, I film it and post it too. Breast cancer can be beaten if you catch it in time. Go get checked!

And thank God everything is fine. To health 🩷

follow @copscopez for the craziest police footage

galveston, texas — on may 18, 2026, galveston police officer joshua nino de guzman stopped a vehicle near 55th street and avenue o, involving 47-year-old randy martin and passenger ashley parks

according to texas rangers investigators, martin initially followed an order to exit the vehicle but then resisted detention

during the struggle, sworn statements allege martin wrapped an arm around the officer’s head and neck and reached toward his duty holster

authorities say officer de guzman believed martin was attempting to take his service weapon and feared an imminent deadly threat

the officer disengaged, drew his firearm, and fired eight rounds

the medical examiner documented seven gunshot entrance wounds, and no firearm was recovered from martin at the scene

parks exited the vehicle immediately after the shooting and was detained without injury. officers provided emergency medical aid before martin was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead

the texas rangers investigated the shooting, and a galveston county grand jury reviewed the evidence, including bodycam and dashcam footage released in september 2026

the grand jury returned a no-bill, meaning it declined to indict officer de guzman. however, the department’s internal affairs investigation was still active when the footage was released

💬 eight shots fired, no gun recovered — what questions should investigators answer about this encounter?
