We went to a brand new Vintage Toy Shop in Nottingham full of bizarre bootlegs and some amazing old toys : Monkey's Emporium (@monkeysemporium)
Was gonna save this and post it tomorrow but I was too excited about an absolutely cracking new addition to the UK Toy Shop Map!
Based in Sneinton Market (@sneinton_market_avenues), and run by the irresistable force that is Jonnie aka Monkey this is a home to toys from the 50's to the 00's with masses of bootlegs and rare european pieces all scattered round. I'm not sure Ive ever seen a shop like it where you go from looking at Teddy Ruxbin and thinking about how he'd read you bedtime stories to looking at a toy painted by prisoners in Spanish Jails. Its a shop full of stories
And of course theres a massive life size Battlecat outside!
