Excellent trip yesterday to Nottingham for the opening of @monkeysemporium @mrdanplastic such a great location and the shop itself is amazing!! It looks sooo good! How they’ve managed to cram so much in there is unbelievable and it just pops! Couple of nice MOTU pick ups for me alongside a, we”ll call him “happy-man” flex-a-tron! My first and only of this line! If you’re in the area, get down to Sneinton Market, if you’re not in the area. Get yourself down anyway! You can even go on the website, www.monkeysemporium.com order and collect in store! Magic. Retro toys, games, handhelds, plushies, PVC, comics and other weird stuff! Well done guys!! Always great to see fluffy too! #monkeysemporium #motu #bootleg #toycollectors #retro by @monkeysemporium

We went to a brand new Vintage Toy Shop in Nottingham full of bizarre bootlegs and some amazing old toys : Monkey's Emporium (@monkeysemporium) Was gonna save this and post it tomorrow but I was too excited about an absolutely cracking new addition to the UK Toy Shop Map! Based in Sneinton Market (@sneinton_market_avenues), and run by the irresistable force that is Jonnie aka Monkey this is a home to toys from the 50's to the 00's with masses of bootlegs and rare european pieces all scattered round. I'm not sure Ive ever seen a shop like it where you go from looking at Teddy Ruxbin and thinking about how he'd read you bedtime stories to looking at a toy painted by prisoners in Spanish Jails. Its a shop full of stories And of course theres a massive life size Battlecat outside! #VintageToys #ToyHunting #ToyHunting #ToyCollector #Nostalgia #VintageToyShop #TaffsToys taken in Sneinton Market by @monkeysemporium
