Happy Birthday, Unc. 💔🕊️💙
I still don’t think it’s fully hit me that I can’t just pick up the phone and tell you happy birthday anymore. I lost you earlier this year, and honestly, I can’t say it’s getting easier or harder. I’m just learning how to live with a loss I wish I never had to experience.
Today, I’d give anything just to hear your voice, laugh with you one more time, or simply tell you happy birthday like I always should be able to. It’s crazy how life keeps moving when a part of you is still trying to process someone you love no longer being here.
I know you’re gone physically, but the memories, the love, and everything you meant to me will always live on. Today is your day, and although I can’t celebrate with you the way I wish I could, I’ll carry you with me in my heart.
