I was super late getting to the 45th annual @naiatn powwow so I missed most of the dancing and Sun - also missed my @nowatnpl.edmondsonpike people. I didn’t miss my #navajotaco, which hit the spot! Then I wandered the vendors before the evening finale.

One day I’ll learn how to use the camera settings so I can get better iPhone pics.

I hadn’t been to a powwow since my girls were young…pre COVID. It was good to be back. I feel a sense of wonder and comfort when I go to these kind of cultural events. Cultural, ethnic, and national groups can be so different but then you see so many similarities to how your own group does things. There is so much to learn and enjoy from people who aren’t like you. ⚫️🔴🟡⚪️
