If I could go back to 2024 and give myself a little skincare advice, here’s what I’d say… 🤍

Start simple. Stay consistent. Trust the process.

Back then, my skin was incredibly dehydrated, with fine lines, wrinkles, and signs of years of sun exposure.

Fast forward two years, and here’s what changed:

🤍 I started with the basics. Washing my face, moisturizing, and wearing SPF daily. Nothing complicated, just building habits I could stick with.

🤍 Then I built on those habits. Once I was consistent, I gradually added medical-grade skincare, including @rfaskincare products. My entire AM routine takes less than five minutes, and so does my PM routine!

And I’ll admit, I used to feel guilty taking even those few minutes for myself. There was always something else I could be doing!

But our skin is our body’s largest organ, and caring for it is about more than appearance. I realized those few minutes weren’t selfish. They were simply part of taking care of myself. 🤍

Once I had my routine down, I started adding evidenced based treatments based on my skin’s needs and goals.

🤍 Jeuveau every 3–4 months to soften expression lines.

🤍 SkinPen microneedling and chemical peels more recently to help improve skin texture and overall appearance.

I didn’t do everything at once. I built my routine one step at a time so it never felt overwhelming.

And that’s what I want my patients to know, too.

You don’t need a 10-step routine or every treatment available. You need a plan that fits your skin, your lifestyle, your goals, and your budget.

As a nurse practitioner, I love helping patients understand the WHY behind their skincare.

Small, consistent habits add up. And it’s never too late to start. 🤍
