Less Rush, More Van Life: The First Few Days

Our first trial days in the rented campervan are in the books. Trading the daily grind for four wheels takes some getting used to.

Living closely together on just a few square meters means constantly shifting around each other and figuring out the logistics.

Cooking takes a bit more patience on a basic setup, and just learning how all the camper's systems work. From the heating to handling it on the road has been a fun little puzzle.

It’s all trial and error, but that’s part of the process. Slowing down and figuring it out as we go.

Welcome to THE BACKROOMS! We let Ollie (who is 8) choose his costume every Halloween. He seen the Backrooms movie? No. Has he seen the online series? Nah. Does he think it is the absolute coolest story of the year and that The Bacteria monster was the ULTIMATE costume choice? YES ABSOLUTELY. Me and @matpatgt backed him up as usual, this time going as an ASync researcher and... a wall, respectively. Also just wanted to call out that I gained TWO new crafting skills this year: wallpapering wrapping paper onto cardboard, and sewing 196 pipe cleaners into spandex. These will clearly serve me into the future.
