My experience at NYCC, hanging with @saturdaymorningcards, taught me some lessons. It was my first convention experience as an artist and I learned a few important things like how I should accept more than just 3 different methods of payment 😆

But beyond that, I learned about myself - I proved that I could keep up, even if just for a day, with the demands of one of pop culture’s biggest stages. I can draw live, and I can draw quickly.
Most importantly, NYCC was a brief glimpse of what my future might be like. It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had and though I’m not a fulltime artist right now…I feel like I could be.
