It’s Saturday morning and here is my latest Stan Lee sketch card for @saturdaymorningcards! Finished over the course of about two days, using @ohuhuart markers, acrylic paints, and @prismacolor pencils.

Did my best to honor the memory of Pat Tillman in a sketch for @saturdaymorningcards.

I’m excited to finally show this one off! Considering the 35th anniversary is upon us, @the.great.curator cleared me to share my latest JUMBO sketch card featuring the Rocketeer! Finished in @prismacolor pencils atop an airbrushed background.
This one will not be available until the Rocketeer returns to @saturdaymorningcards. Then, the chase begins!!

Once again, much love to the SMC community of collectors and artists who’ve made the past few months some of the best ever! Let’s go! 🚀

Well we can’t all be perfect. For this 11x14 Rocketeer commission, I grabbed the 110 lb multi media paper when I should have used Bristol. Silly me. I tried to save it but you can see the texture of the paper has too much tooth, leaving obvious gaps in the pigment and making it hard to blend.
It’s what I get for not having worked a piece this size in a long time.
Bin it and start over 🤷

Got this amazing hand-drawn sketch of the Black Knight from our super talented @saturdaymorningcards artist, @jdbybee_art, and he absolutely killed it! 🔥🎨 Not only is he an incredible artist, but he’s also an active member of our military, proudly serving our country. Huge thank you to JD for sharing your amazing talent with us and for your service and sacrifice. Truly appreciate you, brother! 🇺🇸🙏 🫡

My experience at NYCC, hanging with @saturdaymorningcards, taught me some lessons. It was my first convention experience as an artist and I learned a few important things like how I should accept more than just 3 different methods of payment 😆

But beyond that, I learned about myself - I proved that I could keep up, even if just for a day, with the demands of one of pop culture’s biggest stages. I can draw live, and I can draw quickly.
Most importantly, NYCC was a brief glimpse of what my future might be like. It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had and though I’m not a fulltime artist right now…I feel like I could be.

I got to spend Sunday of NYCC with the @saturdaymorningcards crew, doing nothing but drawing, chilling with some real talent in @ejsu28 @_erickmarshall_ @sidekickink @pokedoodly, and signing boxes!
Shout out to the entire gang who made that day an incredible event - @the.great.curator @paper_gemz @betweentwoslabs_smc @nextupvault @appleseedcreations @sneakers_4_dayz @givvy_gobbler_draws @captbcards and anyone I missed lol

Looking forward to the next one!
