The Fat Plant Society

Heading to the desert this week which is, iwhere so much of The Fat Plant Society was “born” in terms of inspiration.

We both adore the desert and desert plants and it was in the Valley that we first saw vertical plant walls in person for the first time.
.
And yes, we sure tried to replicate that plant experience here in Kansas City—our first vertical designs were created using succulents.
But we just don’t get enough sun here.

Enter moss. Wonderfully sustainable and sturdy.

But this week, we’ll be paying homage to the desert and the inspiration it has always provided.
