If you’re passing through Amarillo, TX, put 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘆’𝘀 on your radar!

This super local, no-frills Texas spot is known for its chicken fried steak, so naturally we had to see what all the fuss was about.

🍽️ 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱:

🔥 𝗝𝗶𝗺𝗺𝘆’𝘀 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗿 ($16) — Three mini chicken fried steaks, each with a different twist:

🤍 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 — Buttermilk-breaded, golden brown, with cream gravy.

🌶️ 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 — Cream gravy, green chile sauce and cheddar jack cheese.

🔥 𝗝𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗻̃𝗼 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸 — Jalapeño gravy, grilled jalapeños and cheddar jack. 𝗠𝗬 𝗙𝗔𝗩𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗘! 🙌

🥩𝟭𝟰𝗼𝘇 𝗥𝗶𝗯𝗲𝘆𝗲 ($37) — Aged, hand-cut Angus beef, served with two sides and Texas toast. Absolutely outstanding and probably our favorite bite of the entire meal!

Everything we tried was delicious, the people were incredibly friendly, and you can tell this place is a local favorite. ❤️

Our one disappointment? They were OUT of their famous 𝗗𝗘𝗘𝗣-𝗙𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗗 𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗣𝗜𝗘! 😭 Pecan pie, deep-fried and topped with vanilla ice cream, caramel and chocolate sauce?! We were READY.
