We're still celebrating the Amarillo International Film Festival! 🎬

What a weekend! From film screenings and filmmaker conversations to bringing our community together, we're grateful to everyone who helped make this year's festival a success.

We had film lovers of all ages join us, including our youngest attendee at just 9 days old!

Thank you to all the filmmakers, sponsors, volunteers, and attendees who made it happen.

We're already looking forward to next year! Mark your calendars for October 7–9, 2027!

🤠 It was a Texas-sized premiere in Amarillo. 🎥

“Route 66: The Main Street of America” rolled into the Amarillo Globe-News Center for its Texas premiere, and the Panhandle showed up. The Mother Road runs straight through our backyard, and last night we got to see her story on the big screen, among the people who keep it alive.

We’re hitting the road to explore the people, places and stories that make Texas Route 66 so special.
First stop: the Milburn-Price Culture Museum in Vega, Texas!

We joined Museum Director Greg Conn for a tour and quickly realized there was WAY too much to fit into one video. From local history and Route 66 stories to some seriously cool pieces you have to see for yourself, Greg gave us an inside look at what makes this museum such a special stop along the Mother Road.
