Being able to perceive information does not automatically make that information yours to disclose.
Some impressions are meant to guide how you hold space.
Some require further development.
Some fall outside what the person invited you to explore.
And some simply do not need to be shared.
This is especially important when you are working with another person’s grief, relationships, health, private experiences, or energetic history.
The question is no longer only:
“Is this impression accurate?”
It becomes:
“Do I have permission to communicate it, is it relevant to the work, and can I share it responsibly?”
Ethical discernment is not suppressing your ability.
It is understanding that your ability exists alongside another person’s autonomy.
