Booking is open. 🌙
You don’t have to walk this alone.
Whether you’re craving a message from the other side, clarity on where you’re headed, or real support reconnecting with what you already know — I’m holding space for a small number of 1:1 clients during the month of September & October.
This isn’t about me handing you answers. It’s about real guidance for the parts of your path that were never meant to be walked solo.
Placement offered through alignment. Link in bio to book. 🤍 taken in Lisboa, Portugal by @violethategan

There are a few new faces here, so let me properly introduce myself.

I’m Violet—an evidential psychic medium, Traditional Usui Reiki Master Teacher, founder of The Fern Collective Academy, wife, and mother of two boys.

For more than a decade, my work has lived at the intersection of energy, intuition, mediumship and embodiment.

I’m not here to make spirituality feel more mysterious, dramatic or fear-based. I’m here to help you understand what you perceive, discern what it means and consciously participate with the energetic body you already have.

Because spiritual maturity is not proven by the experiences we have. It is revealed through the integrity with which we interpret, embody and share them.

If you’re deeply spiritual, highly discerning and uninterested in the performance—welcome. You’re in the right place.

Tell me where you’re joining me from.

Being able to perceive information does not automatically make that information yours to disclose.

Some impressions are meant to guide how you hold space.

Some require further development.

Some fall outside what the person invited you to explore.

And some simply do not need to be shared.

This is especially important when you are working with another person’s grief, relationships, health, private experiences, or energetic history.

The question is no longer only:

“Is this impression accurate?”

It becomes:

“Do I have permission to communicate it, is it relevant to the work, and can I share it responsibly?”

Ethical discernment is not suppressing your ability.

It is understanding that your ability exists alongside another person’s autonomy.

Continue following this series as we move deeper into responsibility within spiritual work.

Astrology, tarot, numerology, the pendulum: these tools help me cross-check, but they aren’t where the reading comes from. It’s all energy, and readings shouldn’t be limited to what the manual says.

Practitioners, 1:1 mentorship is open. DM me “energy.”

I don’t say this often, but I’m a one-woman small business. I’m also a full-time mum, and about a hundred other things on any given day.
For a while, showing up here just wasn’t possible the way I wanted it to be. Now I’m finally getting back on the horse, and seeing so many of you find me again this week has meant more than I can explain.
Thank you for showing up for me. I’m here to keep showing up for you 🤎

People who’ve followed me for YEARS told me this week it was the first time they’d seen me in their feed in ages. Let that sink in.
We didn’t lose our people. They were hidden from us.
So here’s the plan- post your ask. Support everyone else who posts theirs. Let’s flood the feed with real people again 🖕🏼

If I were guiding a student through an impression, I would not immediately ask them to list what they think it could mean.

That moves them out of reception and into analysis before the information has finished developing.

I would ask them to describe what was brought into their awareness.

Then I would ask them to stay with it.

What else is appearing?

How are you perceiving it?

What sensations, emotions, imagery, words, or additional details begin accompanying it?

The purpose is not to search for the right answer. It is to remain receptive enough for the impression to continue revealing itself without judgment, projection, or the pressure to make it mean something immediately.

Interpretation comes after the information has been given the opportunity to develop.

I opened a can of worms. 🪱

Yesterday I spoke about how much content on some of these larger accounts is entirely AI generated. People are noticing. You go looking for someone’s perspective and start wondering whether any of it is actually theirs.

When your work involves teaching, intuition, and discernment, that matters. I want to know who is speaking and what experience sits behind their words.

And between that, keeping up with the forever changing algorithms, and being told to press on someone’s pain so they’ll buy… Can we please bring back word of mouth 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Someone experienced your work. It meant something to them. They passed your name along- it’s free, and it’s significantly more meaningful.

More of that, please. Especially with the holidays around the corner. 🎄

If you’ve ever recommended a session or the academy to someone, thank you. That trust truly means something to me. taken in Los Angeles, California by @violethategan

“My friend recommended you” means more to me than ever.

When your work involves teaching, intuition, and discernment, that matters. I want to know who is speaking and what experience sits behind their words.

And between that, keeping up with the algorithm, and being told to press on someone’s pain so they’ll buy… I’m really missing word of mouth.

Someone experienced your work. It meant something to them. They passed your name along.

More of that, please.

One of the most concerning things I see in the spiritual space is interpretation being presented as unquestionable fact.

Someone feels heaviness and calls it an energetic attack.

They receive an image and call it a prophecy.

They perceive pressure in their throat and declare a blocked chakra—or make a claim about how someone died.

The original impression may have been genuine. The way it registered through their intuitive faculties may have been clear.

But the conclusion is still a separate stage.

Interpretation is not inherently irresponsible. It becomes irresponsible when someone refuses to acknowledge it as interpretation—and presents it with more certainty than the information supports.

A massive platform only makes this more consequential. Thousands of people may begin repeating one person’s interpretation as spiritual truth without developing their own discernment or examining the evidence behind it.

Integrity sounds like:

This is what entered my awareness.

This is how I perceived it.

This is how I currently interpret it.

This is what supports that interpretation.

This is what remains unknown.

I am not interested in building spiritual authority through certainty or theatrics. I am interested in developing practitioners who can receive, interpret, and communicate information responsibly.

If this is the kind of spiritual education you have been looking for, you can explore my work inside The Fern Collective Academy through the link in my bio.

Okay I cannot be the only one that feels a little bit bamboozled right now.

These spiritual accounts with huge followings keep coming into my feed. Same face, same facial movements, same “interact with this post or you’re going to get bad luck / be hexed” in every reel… and they’re completely AI generated. Like I literally don’t think there’s an actual person behind them.

And people are following this.

Are we really lowering our standards to this?

This is why discernment is so important. We all have intuition, but if we’re not actually practicing tapping into it, we get caught up in narratives like this one that are being fed into the collective.

Which is perfect timing, because this week in Energetic Foundational Basics we’re in Pillar 2: Discernment, and the focus is Source Discernment. Where is the message actually coming from?

Follow along this week, and tell me, has anyone else come across these accounts?? As I’m writing this I’m also realizing this is deeply concerning for real accounts & small business as there has been an ongoing issue with impersonating accounts- especially in spiritual work👀
